I joined SHRP in 2002 for the opportunity to meet other HR professionals as well as participate in the diverse professional programs that are offered. 

My expectations were met as I became more involved with the association by offering a helping hand and becoming involved on committees. Through the engagement, I have met a body of professionals whose passion run deep to ensure the association supports other HR professionals and practitioners both in and outside the chapter. The ability to network and learn from each other’s experiences has been rewarding and satisfying. I look forward to the opportunity to participating and supporting the Professional Education Committee as well as serving SHRP and its members. 

My professional experiences include:

• Serving as General Manger of Human Resources of Atlas Material Testing Technology, LLC. and engaged on the Executive Committee with responsibilities that include a broad spectrum of generalist activities including spearheading learning and growth programs for employees.
• Previously held Director of Human Resources assignment with Ambrosi a major nationwide advertising and photography company and a member of the Executive Committee. Additional responsibilities included functioning as a Regional Human Resources Manager for Schawk while supporting the business integration.
• Performed as a Talent Manager for General Growth Properties establishing talent search processes that supported future growth strategies.
• In addition to focusing on state-of-the art human resource strategy for organizations and contributing to the development of organization culture, I also maintained a progressive posture toward employee development programs as demonstrated through efforts to implement Harrah’s Casino first on-site Associate Arts degree program with University of St Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
• Additionally I have served as Assistant Professor at DeVry University of Chicago.

I hold a M.A. in Adult and Continuing Education Training from St Francis University and a B.A. of Sociology from DePaul University.
