I became a member of SHRP in 2002 in order to work with and get to know the people for whom I provide professional services to on a daily basis. Prior to becoming legislative chair, I was a member of the programming committee for over one year.  

SHRP’s legal updates (via meetings and articles on the website) are a great resource for HR professionals to keep abreast of legal and HR developments both locally and nationally. The updates also help HR practitioners translate those developments into their workplace.

My professional experience includes:

  • Partner in the law firm of Holland & Knight, LLP.
  • More than twelve years experience in labor and employment law (EEO, wage and hour, contracts, union issues, etc.)
