Roxanne Cordice, PHR

I became involved in SHRP because I have a passion for the HR Profession. I have been a member of SHRM for many years but wanted to connect with HR Professionals on a local level. The HR world is constantly changing and SHRP is another vehicle through which I can keep abreast of those changes as well as stay in-tuned with the best practices. Additionally, SHRP provides excellent networking opportunities. I currently chair the Workforce Readiness Committee and that not only allows me to give back but it allows me to grow professionally; it’s a win-win situation.

I began my HR career at Strange Engineering Inc. and was employed with that organization for over 13 years. I supported HR disciplines such as: employee relations, benefits administration, full-life cycle recruiting, training and development and risk management. I am currently employed as an HR Manager at American Louver Company and I dabble in many HR functional areas.

I hold a BS degree in Management which I received from National Louis University and earned my PHR (Professional in Human Resources) distinction from SHRM in 2003.
