Social Media Bootcamp

Parts I & II. Attend either or both sessions.

Part I: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Social Media is how the world is doing business.

Are you still trying to figure out what the hype is all about and what it could mean for your organizations?  Join us for the answers and how to use it to your advantage.
To help you get a better understanding of social media and prepare for the inevitable changes it will bring about, SHRP has joined forces with the Social Media in Organizations (SMinOrgs) Community to offer a half-day workshop. Hosted by Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg (NGE), this workshop will be a bootcamp of sorts, providing attendees the opportunity to learn by doing – bring your laptop and experiment with different ideas as you hear about them!

When you leave bootcamp, you will:

  • Better understand social media, including the different social networking platforms and their professional applications
  • Recognize the importance of incorporating social media in your career development efforts
  • Know how to expand, enhance and manage your digital presence
  • Learn how to continue climbing the social media learning curve efficiently and effectively
  • Understand the legal and policy issues associated with the effective management of social media
Already attended Part I? Join us for Part II in the afternoon!

Part II: 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Attend either or both sessions!

You started using Social Media, now go to the next level
